Reddit is an interesting site where people share links. It generates much discussion. The site itself is fragile and sometimes can get overloaded with traffic and die. The site is a victim of its own success. I am not sure it makes much money from its advertising.

Anyway, I received about 700 hits from Reddit in the last 24 hours because of my Ten Laws of SF. One person listed my site and then a couple of dozen people commented. Most of the comments were by people who did not or could not read the actual page. They seemed to be reactions to the other comments because a few made points that I had already made in the list itself.

As a result of all this activity I sold half a dozen kindle books in one day. I may have sold some of the paper version, but I won’t know for a few days until after it is printed and shipped.

I am now trying to think of something outrageous and controversial that will bring even more people to my web pages. The problem is, that I am not all that interesting.
