Been BoingBoinged

BoingBoing picked up the blog post on Bradbury’s Birthday.

Batten down the hatches, trim the sails for a traffic storm.

Update:
Yesterday 8/2/2009 444 hits from BoingBoing. This is after about 12 hours of exposure. Like Stumbleupon readers, BoingBong readers stop by and don’t click any links or bother to explore the site.
I was also picked up at Neatorama and had a handful of hits from them.
I had 48 hits from Twitter.
For some reason I had about 50 hits from facebook, – someone must have posted the Bradbury thing on their wall.

Update 8/03/2009
The boingboing article moved off the front page around 3pm (est).

Update 8/04/2009
Second day (Monday 8/3) hits:
Stumbleupon: 276 (not related to the BoingBoing post)
BoingBoing: 112
Neatorama: 45
Twitter: 15
Facebook: 20
Reddit: 19
The actual URL in the BoingBoing article was hit 157 times and is also being hit by RSS readers. (blog atom/rss=120 hits)
I sent 18 readers to Freezine to read my story.
The Google page rank for the blog is back at 4. It had dropped down to 3 for most of this year.
Update: 08/05/2009
Yesterday I received 71 hits from either direct or indirect reference from BoingBoing. I expect now that the curve will by hyperbolic and settle down somewhere around 20 hits a day for a few weeks. I have started getting more hits from other blogs that copied the BoingBoing story than I am getting from BoingBoing.
