I have to admit that I am intrigued, but we can’t handle – or even afford to feed – a real tiger. It is illegal and immoral to keep a wild animal like this. It belongs in the wild, but since it has been raised by humans, it needs a nice preserve somewhere. This poor guy will likely wind up on a farm in Texas where some idiot will pay $10,000 to shoot him.

The morality of someone who would pay to own a tiger cub and then just off him to the first person who sends an email is something that I just don’t get. I feel sick thinking about it. I want to rescue the poor thing, but I can’t keep a tiger any more than the person who is getting rid of it. It would eat my cats.

Freecycle.org is a web page organizing yahoo groups where members can offer things for free for recycling to other members. Erica has been getting some interesting stuff. We’ve gotten rid of stuff that otherwise would have been hauled to the landfill.
