Nyack Burger Hop

The old Lincoln dealership in Central Nyack, near the thruway overpass is now a burger joint. The burgers look good. It’s too bad that I gave up beef nearly a year ago.

It must be lunch time, because my mouth is watering and my stomach grumbling.

I guess I’ll go out and get a salad.

Sigh…

    Hi Keith,

Sunny here, from Nyack Burger Hop. Come on in and try our veggie burgers. We also have turkey burgers, and having a strong response to both.

As a kid I used to deliver papers there. I never liked the people that sold the cars. The gave me a hard time about my 48 cents a week. Now nearly 50 years later, I am much happier with the place as a burger joint. Unfortunately it is in a marginal location. Route 59 doesn’t get a lot of walk in traffic. Up the street, however, the old Wooden Indian (now one of the Hogan kids run it) gets lots of business, so there is hope that if you stick it out you can build a customer base.

    Hello Keith.
I used to do that route myself, and delivered there. Probably 1978/1979.
